VALT Build 167

This update includes several fixes to improve user experience and stability across VR, iOS, and Android. Controls in Fear VR are now more responsive, with a consistent Walk/Run button and smoother turning in Explore Mode. Avatar selection has been refined, with distinct lists for CitiXens and OG CitiXens, and the AI Tab in Apartment Lobbies is now visible on Quest 2. Additionally, Skybox and NFT display issues have been resolved, ensuring saved modifications appear correctly. Mobile users will also experience better navigation in Speed Run, and loading on Android and iOS is now smoother.

New Features in Build 167 (Addition to 162):

  • A new Speed Run UI at the starting point now displays current run times and personal bests for easier tracking before beginning a run.

  • The booster system in Speed Run offers collectible speed boosts that last 10 seconds each. If a user reaches the next checkpoint before a boost expires, boosts stack for progressively faster speeds, adding strategic depth in choosing the optimal route.

  • Sound effects now signal checkpoint collections and run completions, enhancing user awareness of progress.

  • A Warp effect is added to visually indicate active speed boosts, making it easier to see when a boost is engaged.

This update refines gameplay and adds strategic elements to the Speed Run feature, making each run more engaging and visually dynamic.
